The Pavelló de l'Illa will relive the first-ever Hockey+ match in Catalonia.
17/09/2026
2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the Hockey+ project—two decades of promoting adapted sports, inclusion, and equal opportunities on Catalan hockey pitches. The schedule of commemorative events for the project's 20th anniversary continues. Among the various initiatives organized by the Catalan Hockey Federation, the next event will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, at the L’Illa Sports Hall in Barcelona, as part of the Les Corts District Festival.
The day will commemorate the match played in 2006 between Barça/Moragas and Barça/Paideia, which marked the beginning of this discipline in Catalonia. In addition to this historical reenactment, the afternoon will feature exhibition matches and a meet-up with the district's coaching staff.
Event program and schedule:
• 17:15 | Commemorative match recreating the first H+ game from 2006: Barça/Moragas vs. Barça/Paideia
• 18:00 | Barça Hockey+ vs. Catalan Hockey+ Select Team
• 18:45 | Hockey+ Players' Select Team vs. District Coaches
• 19:30 | Awards presentation and closing ceremony
An event open to everyone to share a time of sport, community, and recognition for the players who have been—and continue to be—part of the daily life of Hockey+.
