Sant Cugat se viste de gala para una Copa del Rey y de la Reina con un claro acento catalán

The great spectacle of state hockey is coming to our country this weekend. From 24 to 26 April, the facilities of Club Junior 1917 in Sant Cugat del Vallès will be the epicentre of an exciting edition of the Copa del Rey and Copa de la Reina 2026. It will be a very special weekend that will coincide with the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the hockey section of the host club, and that will feature the presence of up to ten Catalan teams fighting for the title.

The competition will have an undisputed role for Catalan hockey. Of the sixteen teams participating in the final phase, ten are from our country (four in the women's team and six in the men's team), demonstrating once again the high level of our sport. All eyes are on the quarter-finals this Friday, where we will experience very intense derbies.

Copa de la Reina

In the women's category, the Catalan representation will be in charge of Atlètic Terrassa HC, Club Egara, Junior FC and RC Polo.

Quarter-final schedule – Friday 24 April:

11:00 a.m. | Atlètic Terrassa – Club Egara (Field 1)

1:15 p.m. | Sanse Complutense – Real Sociedad (Field 2)

3:00 p.m. | Real Club de Campo – Junior FC (Field 1)

5:15 p.m. | UD Taburiente – RC Polo (Field 2)

Copa del Rey:

Regarding the men's team, the Catalan hegemony is even more evident with the participation of CD Terrassa, Atlètic Terrassa HC, Club Egara, Junior FC, RC Polo and FC Barcelona.

Quarter-final schedule – Friday 24 April:

11:15 a.m. | CD Terrassa – Atlètic Terrassa (Field 2)

1:00 PM | Real Club de Campo – FC Barcelona (Field 1)

3:15 PM | Club Egara – RC Polo (Field 2)

5:00 PM | Junior FC – Sanse Complutense (Field 1)

Once the tickets for the semi-finals have been decided on Friday, the most decisive action will be concentrated in Field 1 of the Junior.

Saturday, April 25: It will be the turn of the Semi-finals. The men's matches will be played in the morning (10:00 AM and 12:15 PM) and the women's matches in the afternoon (2:30 PM and 4:45 PM).

Sunday, April 26: The final day will begin with the matches for 3rd and 4th place (9:00 AM for men and 9:15 AM for women). The final climax will come with the Copa del Rey Final (11:00 a.m.) and the Copa de la Reina Final (1:00 p.m.).
