Catalan hockey joins the fight against cancer with the “Braçalets d'Esperança” campaign
27/01/2026
On the occasion of World Cancer Day on February 4, the Catalan Hockey Federation is once again joining the "Braçalets d'Esperança" campaign, promoted by the Association Against Cancer. Under the slogan #ElSímboloQueHumaniza, this year's objective is to turn our sport into a speaker of support for people suffering from the disease and for all their caregivers.
A weekend of solidarity in clubs
The Federation calls on all clubs and athletes so that, during the day of January 31 and February 1, the teams wear a green armband as a sign of solidarity. This simple visual action seeks to humanize the fight against cancer and convey a message of hope from every field in Catalonia.
To grow this movement, the FCH invites clubs to immortalize the moment with photographs of the teams and share them on social networks by tagging the Federation and the delegations of the Association Against Cancer with the campaign hashtag.
Special action at the Munich Super Cup 2026
The campaign will reach its peak during the Munich Super Cup, which will take place on February 7th and 8th at the Atlètic Terrassa HC facilities.
Taking advantage of the great publicity that this event brings together more than 800 athletes and 25 matches, the Federation will directly provide green armbands to all participating teams that wish to join before taking to the pitch to compete for their titles. The Super Cup will thus become the ideal stage to show the unity of Catalan hockey in the face of a social challenge that affects us all.
At the Catalan Hockey Federation, we are convinced that we all play this game.
