Club Junior double in the finals of the Catalan Indoor Hockey Championship in Can Jofresa

The Can Jofresa pavilion in Terrassa hosted the finals of the Catalan Championship of Honor Division of indoor hockey this Sunday, on a day marked by the good atmosphere in the stands and the high competitive level of the participating teams. Club Junior was proclaimed champion in both the women's and men's categories, signing a double in the highest Catalan competition of the discipline.

The women's final opened the day with the confrontation between Club Junior and Atlètic Terrassa HC. The team from Sant Cugat clearly won 6 to 0, in a match dominated from the first minutes and which allowed the Junior players to lift the title of champions of Catalonia. Third place in this category went to Club Egara.

The men's final repeated the protagonists and offered a much tighter outcome. Junior and Atlètic tied at three goals at the end of regulation time, and the title was decided in shoot-outs. The team from Sant Cugat showed more success in this decisive phase and took the victory, thus validating the title of champion of Catalonia achieved last season. In the men's category, the third-placed team was also Club Egara.

The finals put an end to an intense weekend of competition, with a notable audience presence and an atmosphere that once again turned the Can Jofresa pavilion into a benchmark stage for Catalan indoor hockey.
