Catalan clubs dominate the Final Four played in Terrassa

2/06/2025

This weekend, the Martí Colomer Municipal Stadium in Terrassa was the scene of an exciting Final Four, which brought together the best teams from the highest national categories of the Honor Division A and B, both in the men's and women's categories. Catalan clubs played a prominent role, with three of the four titles at stake won by teams from our country.

The Real Club de Polo de Barcelona played a great performance, proclaiming themselves champions of the Honor Division A for men. In a tight final against Atlètic Terrassa, Ramon Sala's team won 2-1 thanks to a decisive goal from Benedikt Schwarzhaupt a few minutes from the end. This match was also special as it saw off a hockey legend, Xavi Lleonart, who ended his career with a great performance.

In the men's Division of Honor B, Pedralbes HC won 3-2 in an exciting duel against Egara 1935. With moments of high tension and key goals from Guillermo Umbert and Santiago Zaldua, Pedralbes confirmed their hegemony in a highly intense final.

In the women's Division of Honor B, Vallès Esportiu proved unstoppable against Castelldefels, with a final score of 3-1. Goals from Anna Solà, Paola Amat and Maria Solà secured the title for the team from Sant Cugat.

The only title that did not remain in Catalonia was the Iberdrola League, where Club de Campo Villa de Madrid beat Atlètic Terrassa in a very close final that ended with a score of 2-1. Despite the great effort of the yellows, they were unable to neutralize the forcefulness of Club de Campo in the penalty corner kicks.
