Club Egara is proclaimed the indoor male youth champion of Group A

The Egara Club Pavilion hosted yesterday, Sunday, February 4, the final match of the Catalan Youth Men's Championship of Group A of Indoor Hockey, a match that pitted the host team against Atlético Terrassa.

The match ended with the victory of the local team by a narrow four to three. Joan Francesc Fernández (2), Jan Trujillo and Jan Canal scored the goals for the striped team. Santi Martín (2) and Àlex Grau scored for the yellows.

The referee team was made up of Bernat Carbonell, Pau Salvati and Eloi Casalé -as third referee-; Esteve Casas did the table functions.

The champions are: Sergi Alegre, Joan Francesc Fernández, Jan Canal, Senen Escamilla, Jan Clapés, Jan Trujillo, Nacho Jufresa, Aleix Solsona, Ton Morán and Max Costa. The trainers have been Albert Massaguer and Maria Laura Perrone; Ramon Clapés was the delegate.

The semi-finals of the championship were played on Saturday and were played by Club Egara against CD Terrassa (4-2) and Júnior FC against Atlético Terrassa (7-9). The match for third place was won by Junior, who beat CD Terrassa by four to five.
