COINCIDING WITH THE CENTENARY YEAR, HOCKEY ENTERS THE CAR OF SANT CUGAT
8/09/2023
The High Performance
Center (CAR) of Sant Cugat has, for the first time in its history, given
scholarships to hockey players.
The initiative, promoted
by the Catalan Hockey Federation, is part of the project to open the elite
training space to other sports, among which is hockey.
Each year there will be
eight different players. The first eight scholarship players this season were
born in 2009 and will combine studies with training, following a mixed model.
The day will include elite physical preparation in the scholarships' routine.
The participants, who
started the course last Wednesday, September 6, study from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00
a.m.; from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. they will perfect their hockey technique and
continue with training from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., which is when they finish their
day.
The members of this first
promotion are Pol Balart, Àlex Carrera, Marta Farré, Mar Guinovart, Hugo Palma,
Victor Salvans, Berta Sola and Aina Vidal.
