
MIKI DELÁS HANGS UP THE STICK

Sunday 28, at 12.30pm,
against Sanse Complutense will be Miquel Delàs' last match at Pau Negre as a
Barça player, as he will officially end his career as a player.
The international player
started in hockey with FC Barcelona in the categories under the age of three
and was linked to the club until the 2007-2008 season when he joined the ranks
of Atlético Terrassa and stayed until in the 2012-2013 season when he left to
play with Belgian Royal Antwerp. Although he played outside of Catalonia, he
never dissociated himself from his club, as he participated in indoor hockey
competitions.
In 2017 he returned to
play in the FC Barcelona first team.
International player with
the Spanish under-16, under-18, under-21 and senior national teams.
With three Olympic
diplomas for his participation with the absolute selection in three Olympic
Games: London 2012 (6th place), Rio de Janeiro 2016 (5th place) and Tokyo 2020
(8th place). He has been the captain of the absolute selection since 2017.
So on Saturday, Delàs will
take the opportunity to say goodbye to his fans and supporters.
