
EQUALLY AMAZING - THE ROUND TABLE OF CATALAN WOMEN'S HOCKEY

The Terrassa Municipal
Auditorium hosted last Friday, March 10, the EQUALLY AMAZING - THE ROUND TABLE
OF CATALAN WOMEN'S HOCKEY which was attended by more than 150 people and with
the participation of women who are leading the women's sport on and off the
field. This round table is part of the CENTENARY events.
The event was
presented by Joana Barbany, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation,
who gave the floor to the mayor of Terrassa, Jordi Ballart, to welcome the
attendees and highlight the role of hockey in the city of Terrassa and the
woman's role

Federation, were the moderators.
Speakers shared
their experiences in different roles in sport and hockey from a woman's
perspective, including the political side, club presidents, team managers, team
coaches of the highest category, the role of referees and the sport from the
point of view of players of different generations.
A competition was
held among the attendees to see which were the three with the most knowledge of
Catalan women's hockey and the winners took home a women's ARC shirt.
Xavier Adell,
president of the Federation, thanked the speakers and attendees for their
participation and closed the panel highlighting the role of women and their
empowerment in hockey and Catalan sport.
