
Atlético champion of the 1st Men's Indoor Hockey

Atlético Terrassa has been proclaimed champion of the 1st Men's Indoor
Hockey by winning the final match at Junior FC by 2-3. The champion team opened
the scoring in the second half, with the goal of Joan Tarrés, minutes later
Pablo Espino equalized the bright one. Oriol Serrahima, in the third half, put
the blue-and-blacks ahead, a result that remained until the last half when Quim
Malgosa equalized for the yellows and Pol Cabré-Verdiell scored the winning
goal for Atlético.
The meeting was directed by members Sandra Adell, Jonathan Gómez and Borja
Sàez; Esteve Casas was in charge of the table.
The third place match pitted Club Egara against HC Sant Cugat and Sant
Cugat won 7-8. Lluís Mercadé (2), Nacho Prat, Bruno Ávila (2), Martí Soler and
Jan Clapés scored for the streaks; Anton Serrahima (4), Jordi Gifra (3) and Sam
Cortés did it for the winners of the match.
The champions are: Marc Calzada, Quim Malgosa, Roger Figa, Pol
Cabré-Verdiell, Marc Escude, Joan Tarrés, Xavi Castelló, Grau Albert, Xavier
Barutel, Santi Ibáñez and Pol Fité. Xavi Gasol and Roger Pablo have been the
coaches and Marc Caparrós the delegate.
FC Barcelona reached fifth place by beating CT Les Fonts by 6-6 (2-3),
seventh place went to CD Terrassa who beat Egara 1935 by 7-2, in ninth place
Vallès at the end of the match against Sarrià 4-0.
The final was played on Sunday, January 22, at the Can Jofresa Pavilion.
