The best state hockey, this weekend at Can Salas

30/04/2021

The top four men's and women's teams in Spain meet this weekend to compete in the FINAL FOUR in Can Salas, where the champions of the highest categories will be decided: the Men's and Women's Honor Division.

The men's FINAL FOUR has the participation of three Catalan teams and the women's two. The competition was officially presented on Thursday, April 29, at the Can Salas facilities and was attended by players from the semifinalist teams, Santiago Deó, president of the Real Federación Española de Hockey, Xavi Adell, president of the Catalan Hockey Federation, Mireia Galí, representing the organizing club and Jordi Ballart, Mayor of Terrassa.

The women's competition will start on Saturday at 10 am with the first Semifinal in which the Club de Campo and the REAL CLUB DE POLO will look for a place in the final on Sunday. The second semifinal will be played by JUNIOR FC, champions of the Copa de la Reina, against SPV Complutense at 12.00. The winners of the Semifinals will play on Sunday the final that will decide the title, at 10.30am.

The first men’s Semifinal, scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, will be played by ATLÈTIC TERRASSA and the REAL CLUB DE POLO. The host already hosted the FINAL FOUR in 2017 and was also proclaimed champion, and is also the team that has won the most titles, twenty-one. The REAL CLUB DE POLO has lifted the champion's cup on fifteen occasions, the same as CLUB EGARA, current champion of the Copa del Rey and league champion in 2019. CLUB EGARA will play the second Semifinal against Club de Campo , at 4 p.m.

The champion of the Semifinals will play on Sunday, at 14.00, the final for the title.

Atlètic Terrassa, which finished first in the Regular League, has been guaranteed the participation of the Euro Hockey League. The winner of the FINAL FOUR will also enjoy a place in this competition.

There will also be Catalan representation in the refereeing body where Paco Vázquez will be one of the members of the men's FINAL FOUR and Sandra Adell of the women's.

The matches can be watched live on the RFEH youtube channel and at www.rtve.es (+ TDP. Sport, live - Rtve.es).

Teledeporte will broadcast live the three women's matches (the two semifinals and the final).
